A New Way of Booking and Travel Guarantee

We have developed an innovative approach to the booking process and payment structure of our new packages due to the uncertainty of travel during the Covid 19 Pandemic and any future travel disruptions beyond our control.

We have made the booking process as flexible as possible to ensure you Book with Confidence and have Peace of Mind.

In association with Private Safaris and Jenman Safaris, our associated Destination Management Companies and Safari Lodges, we have partnered with suppliers who share our commitment of creating a transparent and customer centric booking philosophy that will renew the customer booking confidence with 20twenty plus. 

The Reserve Now and Pay Later and Travel Guarantee must please be read in conjunction with our Standard Terms and Conditions which are applicable to all bookings made via 20twenty plus.

The payment terms and benefits

  • The new payment terms will ensure that you can reserve a provisional booking at the advertised price for travel in 2022 or 2023 at a minimum booking fee of $35. We anticipate price increases on new packages during 2022 for travel in 2022 and 2023. 
  • No up-front deposit is paid at the time of the booking
  • Minimum non-refundable booking fee of $35 is required to secure the booking dates as provisional. 
  • Deposit is only paid once 20twenty plus is satisfied with the terms and conditions of travel to the country of your destinations. 20twenty plus will confirm the due date of deposits once we are satisfied that the terms of travel is acceptable.
  • Booking confirmations will be converted to confirmed bookings once deposits have been paid
  • Final payments are due 120 days prior to your travel date.
  • Free date changes are permitted should your date of travel be affected by Covid 19, and travel restrictions imposed by the Australian Government or your country of destination Governments
  • Flights (for flights inclusive packages) will be booked once the final payment is received 
  • Bookings made for travel within 120 days of the travel date, will require the final payment on the booking date
  • Our cancellation policy has been designed to ensure that you do not have indefinite credits for future travel and the option of a refund as per the cancellation terms below
  • All booking requests are subject to availability at the time of booking
  • A non-refundable booking fee of $35 is required to process your booking dates. No bookings will be processed until the $35 is paid
  • The booking fee is refundable should your original booking date not be available at the time of booking. 
  • Bookings will be held provisional until the deposit amount has been paid 
  • Booking confirmations will be emailed to you once the deposit amount has been paid
  • Should you wish to receive a final confirmation of the booking, we will require an upfront deposit payment for the booking
  • One free date is permitted which is not related to Covid 19 and any additional date changes will incur a fee of $100 per person
  • Payments not received on due date will result in the booking being cancelled and amounts paid are non-refundable
  • All our other standard terms and conditions will apply to all bookings

Cancellation Policy Due to Covid 19 or future Pandemic

Below are the following acceptable reasons for the cancellation of the tour dates due to Covid 19.

  • A travel ban, or restrictions being imposed by the Australian Government or the Government of the country of your destination.
  • Flights have been cancelled due to Covid 19 travel restrictions 

 Terms of cancellation or postponement option due to Covid 19 travel restrictions for confirmed bookings

  • Postpone your travel dates and we will offer the amount paid as a credit for future booking dates
  • Cancel the booking and we will refund you the amount paid less a cancellation fee of $250 (less flights issued if applicable and refer to point 3 below) and the cost of the difference in the foreign exchange costs for the amounts paid to our suppliers at the time of the cancellation request. Kindly note the exchange rates are out of our control 
  • The refund or credit for flights issued, is dependent on the Airlines policy at the time of the tickets being issued. 20twenty plus will not be held liable for the cancellation or costs for flights issued and it is the responsibility of the client to understand and read the terms and conditions of the Airline’s policy
  • The cost of postponed travel to a future date is dependent on the chosen date of travel in 2022 and 2023 as surcharges might apply. The surcharge is the cost of our suppliers, and we will advise you of any additional costs.  
  • Our standard Terms and Conditions will apply for clients change of mind to travel and no refunds are applicable for confirmed bookings.

Exclusions from the Travel Guarantee

  • Certain suppliers have imposed and dictated the standard cancellation terms to their bookings, and we will highlight the terms and conditions applicable to the packages prior to any purchase being made to ensure we have transparency of the terms and conditions.
  • We recommend that guests take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking and should a guest contract COVID-19 prior to the travel date and is under treatment or in quarantine and is unable to travel, they will need to claim from their travel insurance as the cancellation will not be covered by our travel guarantee.
