20twenty plus (Pty) Ltd undertakes to provide all services offered subject to the terms and conditions set out herein, which terms and conditions are accepted by the traveller.
20twenty plus (Pty) Ltd and its affiliated subsidiary companies, agents, and sponsoring organizations act only as agent for the suppliers of transportation, accommodations, food, and other goods and services provided to the passenger.
In association with Private Safaris, Jenman Safaris, our Destination Management Companies and Safari Lodges, we have partnered with suppliers who share our commitment of creating a transparent and customer centric booking philosophy that will renew the booking confidence with 20twenty plus.
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking. We will allow 1 free date change and any additional date changes will incur a fee of $150 per person.
The number of days on all tour packages include the days on flights.
20twenty plus will confirm the booking for all accommodation, tours, land transfers and safaris within 7 working days of receipt of your deposit payment.
Accommodation, transfer and tour vouchers will be issued 1 month prior to your departure date.
No vouchers are required for the accommodation, tours and safaris for the Kruger sector of your tour (if applicable) as the booking confirmation is suffice. The beverage credit for the Kruger sector cannot be redeemed for cash or any unused portion after check out.
All payments made are non- refundable once a booking has been confirmed.
Cancellation policy
New Bookings made after 13 December 2021
Once a booking is confirmed, no refunds are permitted for cancellations.
Cancellation request due to medical reasons must be claimed from your Travel Insurance and we highly recommend that clients take out the necessary travel insurance prior to your travel date.
Bookings made prior to 17 March 2020
No refunds are permitted once a booking has been confirmed and a credit for the postponement of travel will be provided to the value of payments made less flights issued. All postponed bookings must be made by 17 June 2022, failing which the bookings will automatically be cancelled and payments made are non – refundable and will be forfeited. Clients must contact 20twenty plus before 17 June 2022 to make arrangements for new travel dates.
No refunds are permitted for cancellation of flights once tickets are issued.
Clients have the following options to postpone travel to 2022:
Postpone travel to 2022 (change of date FOC) between 28 January – 31 August 2022. Additional surcharges per person will apply for the following packages:
Postpone travel between 1 September – 10 November 2022 will incur the following high season surcharges in addition to the 2022 surcharge.
All postponed bookings are subject to availability to your preferred date of travel and travel in 2023 will incur a surcharge at the prevailing 2023 rates.
Payment for bookings made prior to 17 March 2021
Clients who have not made the final payment for the tour and additional activities booked, will be invoiced 120 days prior to the new travel date in 2022.
Payments are accepted via EFT or BPAY and the payment information will be detailed on your invoice.
All arrangements for transport, accommodations, and services are made upon the express condition that 20twenty plus shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damage, injury, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity of any kind occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond its control, including, without limitation, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third party such as an airline, cruise line, train, hotel, restaurant, ground handler, etc., who is to or does supply any goods or services for the tour. Without limiting the foregoing, 20twenty plus is not responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedule, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strikes, acts of God, ‘Force Majeure”, acts of terrorism, war, civil unrest, quarantine, criminal activity, or for any other cause beyond its control.
Should sickness or accident to clients interrupt a tour, the company will not be liable for any loss, damage or expenses arising there from. 20twenty plus recommends that the clients take out the necessary insurances to protect them against any such eventuality.
The company reserves the right to alter or substitute routes, accommodation, itineraries, tours and services should conditions necessitate and will offer substitution of equal value and will inform the client of any changes before departure.
“Force Majeure” means, in relation to the Company, any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Company (including, but not limited to, acts of God, explosion, flood, fire, war or threat of war, sabotage, civil disturbance, quarantine, pandemics, epidemics, government intervention, weather conditions or other unexpected occurrences).
The Company shall not be deemed to be in breach of these terms and conditions or otherwise be liable to the client, by reason of delay in performance, or by non-performance, of any of its obligations here under to the extent that any such delay or non-performance is due to any Force Majeure.
If the Company is affected by Force Majeure, it shall be entitled to, and may in its sole and absolute discretion, vary or cancel any itinerary or arrangement in relation to the tour or safari.
No refunds are given for circumstances arising beyond the Company’s control, necessitating alternative arrangements being made to ensure the safety and/or further participation and enjoyment of the tour or safari.
Safari programs may take travellers into close contact with wild animals. Rangers and guides should brief travellers accordingly, however, neither 20twenty plus nor their employees can be held responsible for any injury or accident while on safari.
It is the sole responsibility of the clients to ensure they meet all visa requirements for each country being visited. 20twenty plus will not be held responsible should the clients not be allowed entry into a country should they not meet the visa or medical requirements of the country. We will endeavour to provide guidance but changes to visa and vaccination requirements are beyond our control.
The Covid 19 vaccination requirements will be determined by the Airlines, Tour Operators, Lodges and Hotels. 20twenty plus will also be guided by the rules and advice of the World Health Organisation and respective Governments of your departure and countries being visited. It is the responsibility of the clients to ensure they meet the vaccination requirements prior to departure and 20twenty plus will not be liable or take responsibility of clients not meeting the required vaccination or health and vaccination test.
Please note that if you are arriving into South Africa from a yellow fever zone then you will need to provide proof to the South Africa authorities that you have had a yellow fever inoculation. Clients with specific health conditions or special requirements, must notify 20twenty plus at the time of booking or prior to the departure date
Flights that have been issued
All travel insurances are highly recommended and is the sole the responsibility of the client. Before a client commences a tour, he/she should arrange his/her own insurance with protection for the full duration of the travel, to cover including but not limited to, personal injury, damage and loss of personal items including but not limited to camera equipment and other electronic equipment, medical expenses, repatriation expenses and loss of luggage. 20twenty plus will not be held liable for any losses or costs.
20twenty plus doe does not provide any travel insurance cover.
