Group Size– Minimum of 4 and maximum of 12 passengers per departure date. The Tanzania safari is a fully escorted tour by a qualified guide. The luggage limit is 15kg and the baggage must be in soft sided suitcases.

Pricing and payments: The pricing and payments are in AUD (Australian Dollars)

  1. 20twenty plus will invoice you for the deposit of $699 on completion of the booking form and is payable on the date of booking.
  2. The second payment of $4900 is due 2 months after the booking date
  3. The final balance payment is due 4 months prior to your travel date and 20twenty plus will invoice you for the final payment.
  4. Bookings made within 4 months of travel, the full payment is required on booking.

Credit or debit card payments must be paid via BPAY or EFT and your client reference number will be on all invoices. The payment method will save you on any credit card fees.

After breakfast, you will be collected at your hotel and transferred to the airport for the onward flight to Kilmanjaro Airport. On arrival at the aiport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Arusha, African Tulip Hotel and spend your day at leaisure and enjoy the surrouning hotel facilities.

Day 4 - Arusha - Tarangire National Park - Manyara

Your safari begins after breakfast this morning. After breakfast, there will be a pre-departure meeting presented by your guide at your accommodation. It is imperative that all clients attend this meeting so as not to miss out on any critical information.

Our first stop is Arusha town, for any last minute purchases before we head off on an exciting safari experience! We will be in Tarangire National Park for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of the annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephant, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras.

Day 5 - Manyara National Park, Tanzania

We head towards Lake Manyara National Park for an early morning game drive. The spectacular national
park is located at the north-western corner of Lake Manyara, a hallow soda lake, which lies at the foot of
the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. Manyara NP is not only known for its large flocks of flamingos,but also for the elusive tree climbing lions.

Day 6 Serengeti National Park

After breakfast we drive up the Rift Valley escarpment towards the world famous Ngorongoro Crater. For
many, this wildlife spectacle is the pinnacle of their safari experience. The Ngorongoro Crater boasts all of the ‘Big 5’, including a small population of endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch, we head towards the Serengeti through the stunning Southern Plains. This is the area that the Serengeti is best known for – the endless, undulating grass savannah with rocky outcrops that serve as isolated wildlife refuges.

Day 7 - Serengeti National Park

Today you will be spending a full day game driving around the Seronera area of the Serengeti. The
Serengeti is divided into three main areas: Seronera is the most central and accessible region and this is
where the Park HQ is based, as well as most of the larger lodges and communal campsites. This part of the. Serengeti is characterised by open plains of grassland, packed with animals. The Seronera River is the lifeblood of the Serengeti and this area is renowned for great game viewing all year round.

It is also particularly good for lion and cheetah sightings, as well as the most elusive of all big cats, the leopard.

Today we retrace our steps with a morning game drive through the Serengeti followed by a picnic lunch,
before we continue through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route we visit Olduvai Gorge.

Day 9 - Lake Manyara - Arusha

After breakfast we explore the colourful town of Mto-wa-Mbu for some last-minute pictures and curio
shopping. Afterwards we head to Arusha where the tour will end and will be transferred to African Tulip for your overnight stay.

Day 10 - Kilmanjaro Airport - Nairobi

After an early morning breakfast, you will be collected at your hotel for the transfer flight to Nairobi.

On arrival at the airport in Nairobi. you will be met at the aiport for the transfer to your hotel for your overnight stay before your onward journey. Spend the rest of your day at your leisure.

After breakfast, you will be collected at your hotel and transferred to Jomo Kenyata Airport for your flight to Joahnnesburg.

On arrival at Johannesburg Airport, proceed to the collection point (approximately 40 meters from the exit of the airport) for your transfer to your 5 star hotel, D’Orealle Grande  for your overnight stay in Johannesburg. The hotel provides a complimentary return airport shuttle service. Relax and unwind from your flight.

After breakfast, the hotel’s airport shuttle service will provide you the transfer to the airport for your connecting flight to Victoria Falls – please book the departure time at the hotel reception. On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met by one of our representatives for the transfer to your Hotel. Later the afternoon, you will be collected at your hotel for a sundowner Zambezi River Cruise which is a superb way to relax and enjoy the beauty of the river. You will have the opportunity to see a variety of game, including elephants, hippo, crocodiles, and different bird species.

Day 14 - Vic Falls

After breakfast, you will be collected at the hotel to discover how the Victoria Falls were formed and what local customs and traditions surround them. The tour undertakes a scenic route and is led by an expert local guide. Learn how Livingstone in 1851, first heard of the great waterfall, but it was only in 1855 that he set out to visit it.  He landed on the biggest island on the lip of the falls, now called Livingstone Island and from there obtained his first view of the Falls.

After the tour of the Vic Falls, enjoy lunch at the Lookout Restaurant where you will have views of the flying fox and zip line activities.

Optional activity for your own account – Helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls.

The spectacular helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls is known as the ‘Flight of Angels’. The best way to appreciate the true splendour of the Victoria Falls is to view it from the air. The helicopters have specially designed ‘bubble shaped’ windows perfect for panoramic viewing and great photographic opportunities from all seats.

After an early morning breakfast, you will be collected at your hotel to explore the Chobe National Park and enjoy a river cruise and game drive. It is the second largest National Park in Botswana and covers over 15 566 square kilometres. It has one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the African continent and is famous for the number of elephants roaming in the reserve. The Chobe River flows lazily through the Caprivi flood plains and provides a haven for huge herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and impala which are closely followed by predators. You will be transferred back to your hotel after the amazing Safari experience.

Today you depart Victoria Falls for your onward journey to the Kruger National Park. You will be collected at your hotel for the transfer to the airport. Please refer to the flight itinerary for the departure Airport.

Upon arrival at Nelspruit, you will be met by a representative of your lodge and transferred to your luxury accommodation. After check-in, relax and enjoy the day at your leisure in the tranquil environment. Later this evening, enjoy a 3-course dinner to round off the day.

Today you will start with an early morning game drive in the Kruger National Park. Ensure you bring your camera along as you will be spotting the BIG 5 in their natural environment. The abundance of animals you will see will be an experience of a lifetime. You will get up close to the animals in your specialised safari vehicle lead by an expert guide. The game drive is approximately 5 hours.

Later the afternoon at approximately 3.00pm, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park which will allow you the opportunity to view the animals you might have missed on the morning game drive.

Later this evening, enjoy a sumptuous 3 course dinner while swapping stories of your animal encounters earlier that day.

Rise early again today for your morning game drive in the Kruger National Park and encounter different experiences to the previous days’s game drive. Nothing comes close to experiencing the raw power of the lion hunt, the sheer bulk and force of the rhino, the delicacy and grace of the leopard, the supreme confidence of a herd of elephants and the adrenalin racing charge of the African buffalo.

Later the afternoon at approximately 3.00pm, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park which will allow you the opportunity to view the animals you might have missed on the morning game drive.

Later this evening, enjoy a sumptuous 3 course dinner while swapping stories of your animal encounters earlier that day.

Day 19 - Depart Kruger - Cape Town

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the nearby Nelspruit Airport for your onward flight to Cape Town. On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel. Relax and spend the day at your leisure.

This morning after breakfast, you will be collected at your hotel and embark on a Full Day scheduled Cape Peninsula Tour of Cape Town.  The tour includes a trip to Cape Point at the southern western tip of the Cape Peninsula with the most spectacular views. The Cape Point Nature Reserve comprises of 17300 acres of indigenous fauna and flora. Here you can see wildlife that includes baboon’s, rhebok, Cape Mountain Zebra, and the elusive eland. Bird watches will also find many fine species to observe. Visit the Boulders Beach to view the penguin colony (entrance for your own expense). This awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point encompasses magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, and picturesque coastal villages. After the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Day 21 - Cape Town

After your breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel by a representative of Afrogem. Enjoy a short tour of their amazing diamond, tanzanite & gemstone factory, specialising in the rich mineral heritage of the African continent. The tour is approximately 30 – 45 minutes.

A representative from Afrogem will transfer you to the Table Mountain cableway.

You will ascend to the top (weather permitting) by the revolving cable car (tickets included).  Here, you will see wildflowers and the famous silver tree, and marvel at a birds-eye view of the city and its beaches.  On a cloudless day it is even possible to see Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned on one side and Cape Point on the other.

After the trip to Table Mountain – you will make your own way back to the hotel. The taxi service is based at the Cable Way Station and the transport is safe and reliable. Relax and enjoy your day at your leisure and a visit to the V&A Waterfront is recommended. There are many coffee shops, restaurants, and bars, most with spectacular harbour views and setting below Table Mountain.

Kindly note the cable car undergoes maintennace and closure during the year (dates to be advised) and we will advise all affected guest of optional tours that can replace the cable car ride.

You will be transferred back to your hotel later the afternoon.

Domestic flights in Southern Africa are included in your package. JHB – Vic Falls – Kruger – Cape Town. 

The calendar dates are the tour commencement date and arrival date in Nairobi. All international flights booked must arrive in Nairobi as per the calendar dates.

We are able to arrange your return international flights from Australia to Nairobi – and return from Cape Town (recommended) to ensure you have one point of contact for your tour. Please indicate in the special request of the booking form if you would like us to arrange your international flights.

International airfare prices are subject to the date of travel, availability and increase without notice and not guaranteed until paid. International flight costs are only available 10 – 11 months prior to your departure date as the airlines only open their booking system for this period. Any variance in costs are for the clients own account.

Check in time for international flights are 3 hours prior to departure. Please reconfirm flights with the airlines 24 hours prior to departure in the event of any schedule changes and we cannot contact you in time to advise you accordingly.

It is the passengers responsibility to ensure your passport has more than 6 months validity from return date.

No refunds of flights are permitted once the flights have been issued. Change of dates for flights issued will incur a change of date cost.

Baggage allowance vary on domestic flights. The allowance is 15 kg for checked in luggage and 5 kg for carry – on luggage for the Tanzanai Safari. All luggage must be in soft side suitcases.
