Group size:  The group size is between 1 – 9 travellers per departure date and allowance can be made for a maximum group size of 10 travellers on request and is subject to availability. You will also be joined by other guests of the Lodge and Hotels for the guided safari game drives and tours. The maximum permitted number of guests per safari vehicle for game drives are 9 passengers. Group bookings of 4 or more travellers qualify for a discount of $250 per person.

Pricing: All pricing is based in AUD (Australian Dollar)

Payments:

  • 20twenty plus will invoice you for the deposit of $699 on completion of the booking form and is due within 24 hours of the booking being made. Bookings will only be processed once the deposit has been paid.
  • The second payment of $2900.00 is due 2 months after your booking.
  • The final balance payment is due 4 months prior to your travel date and 20twenty plus will invoice you for the final payment.
  • Travel booked within 4 months of departure, the final payment is due on booking.
  • Payment of international flights are payable prior to tickets being issued.
  • Credit or debit card payments must be paid via BPAY or EFT and your client reference number will be on all invoices. The payment method will save you on any credit card fees.

Day 2 - Overnight in Johannesburg

On arrival at Johannesburg Airport, proceed to the collection point (approximately 40 meters from the exit of the airport) for your transfer to your 5 star hotel, D’Orealle Grande  for your overnight stay in Johannesburg. The hotel provides a complimentary return airport shuttle service. Relax and unwind from your flight.

Day 3 - Depart Johannesburg - Kruger

After breakfast, the hotel’s airport shuttle service will provide you the transfer to the airport for your connecting flight to Nelspruit Airport – please book the departure time at the hotel reception. Upon arrival at Nelspruit, you will be met by a representative of your lodge and transferred to your luxury accommodation.Later the evening , enjoy a 3-course dinner to round off the day.

Day 4 - Kruger

Today you will start with an early morning game drive in the Kruger National Park. Ensure you bring your camera along as you will be spotting the BIG 5 in their natural environment. The abundance of animals you will see will be an experience of a lifetime. You will get up close to the animals in your specialised safari vehicle lead by an expert guide. The game drive is approximately 5 hours.

Later the afternoon at approximately 3.00pm, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park which will allow you the opportunity to view the animals you might have missed on the morning game drive.

Later this evening, enjoy a sumptuous 3 course dinner while swapping stories of your animal encounters earlier that day.

Today is a free day. After breakfast, you may simply wish to relax and unwind from the previous days safaris or partake in an optional excursion to Swaziland or the Panoramic Day tour.

Rise early again today for your morning game drive in the Kruger National Park and encounter different experiences to the previous days’s game drive. Nothing comes close to experiencing the raw power of the lion hunt, the sheer bulk and force of the rhino, the delicacy and grace of the leopard, the supreme confidence of a herd of elephants and the adrenalin racing charge of the African buffalo.

Later the afternoon at approximately 3.00pm, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park which will allow you the opportunity to view the animals you might have missed on the morning game drive.

Later this evening, enjoy a sumptuous 3 course dinner while swapping stories of your animal encounters earlier that day.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Nelspruit Airport for your flight to Vic Falls. On arrival at Livingstone or Vic Falls Airport ( depending on the flight schedule) you will be transferred to your hotel. After check in, spend the rest of your day at your leisure.

After breakfast, you will be collected at the hotel to discover how the Victoria Falls were formed and what local customs and traditions surround them. The tour undertakes a scenic route and is led by an expert local guide. Learn how Livingstone in 1851, first heard of the great waterfall, but it was only in 1855 that he set out to visit it.  He landed on the biggest island on the lip of the falls, now called Livingstone Island and from there obtained his first view of the Falls.

After the tour of the Vic Falls, enjoy lunch at the Lookout Restaurant where you will have views of the flying fox and zip line activities.

Optional activity for your own account – Helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls.

The spectacular helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls is known as the ‘Flight of Angels’. The best way to appreciate the true splendour of the Victoria Falls is to view it from the air. The helicopters have specially designed ‘bubble shaped’ windows perfect for panoramic viewing and great photographic opportunities from all seats.

After breakfast you will be collected at the hotel for your transfer to the Zambezi Queen for your Chobe River Cruise.

If you arrive with the 13.00 and 14.00 transfers, you will be served lunch, while later transfers will be served a snack before the sunset cruise by tender boats commence. Once all guests have boarded and weather permits, you’ll go in search of some big game by tender boat. This is a perfect time of day to make the most of the golden glow of the African sunset by getting shots of the animals as they gravitate towards the river before nightfall.

On your return to the Zambezi Queen, freshen up before meeting your hosts on the upper deck for a welcome drink. After taking in the spectacular scenery, enjoy a 3 course dinner along with an excellent choice of paired wines. Finish off with an espresso or nightcap at the bar before retiring to the night sounds of Africa in the distance.

We know that some guests like to watch the sunrise as they sip on the coffee while others like to take a more leisurely approach. That’s why we let you choose your morning activities, depending on the type of holiday you are searching for. After an early morning breakfast, join the guide for a memorable safari game drive in the Chobe National Park to spot the BIG 5 in their natural habitat.

Perhaps you want to enjoy a water – based safari or a village tour on the Namibian side of the river or simply remain on board and relax – the choice is entirely yours.

After your morning activities, enjoy lunch on board while using your unique vantage point to spot wild animals. After lunch, you can go out on tender boats for a water based safari and have a different safari experience  to the morning game drive in the Chobe National Park.

After a delicious dinner, settle down for a restful and tranquil night in your luxurious suite.

After a hearty breakfast, head off to experience those activities you did not manage to fit in the previous day: enjoy a waterbased river safari by tender boat or go fishing for tiger or bream. Return for you lunch on board and some relaxation time before the afternoon activities start. Once again, you have the choice of activities.

Later the evening, enjoy a traditional African dinner, served with African singing and dancing. You are welcome to join in the festivities if you feel like the rhythum of Africa.

Enjoy a morning cruise during breakfast as you do your last bit of animal spotting and take some memorable photographs.

Bid the crew a reluctant farewell and then make your way via tender boats to the Namibian Immigration Office and once all documents have been stamped, you’ll be transferred via tender boats to Kasane Immigration Office, where you will have your documents stamped before entering Botswana.

You will be transferred to Kasane Airport for your onward flight via Johannesburg to Cape Town.

On arrival in Cape Town, you will be met by one of our representatives for the transfer to your hotel in Cape Town, The President Hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day at your leisure.

Day 13 - Cape Town

This morning after breakfast, you will be collected at your hotel and embark on a Full Day scheduled Cape Peninsula Tour of Cape Town.  The tour includes a trip to Cape Point at the southern western tip of the Cape Peninsula with the most spectacular views. The Cape Point Nature Reserve comprises of 17300 acres of indigenous fauna and flora. Here you can see wildlife that includes baboon’s, rhebok, Cape Mountain Zebra, and the elusive eland. Bird watches will also find many fine species to observe. Visit the Boulders Beach to view the penguin colony (entrance for your own expense). This awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point encompasses magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, and picturesque coastal villages. After the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Day 14 - Cape Town

After your breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel by a representative of Afrogem. Enjoy a short tour of their amazing diamond, tanzanite & gemstone factory, specialising in the rich mineral heritage of the African continent. The tour is approximately 30 – 45 minutes.

A representative from Afrogem will transfer you to the Table Mountain cableway.

You will ascend to the top (weather permitting) by the revolving cable car (tickets included).  Here, you will see wildflowers and the famous silver tree, and marvel at a birds-eye view of the city and its beaches.  On a cloudless day it is even possible to see Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned on one side and Cape Point on the other.

After the trip to Table Mountain – you will make your own way back to the hotel. The taxi service is based at the Cable Way Station and the transport is safe and reliable. Relax and enjoy your day at your leisure and a visit to the V&A Waterfront is recommended. There are many coffee shops, restaurants, and bars, most with spectacular harbour views and setting below Table Mountain.

Kindly note the cable car undergoes maintennace and closure during the year (dates to be advised) and we will advise all affected guest of optional tours that can replace the cable car ride.

Wine Route tour of Franschhoek

You will be collected at your hotel after breakfast for the Wine Route Tour of Franschhoek. A combination of bus and tram – will transport you around a loop of seven stops to hop off at each stop and experience the activities on offer, be it wine tasting, a cellar tour, lunch or simply stroll through the vineyards. You will be transferred back to your hotel later the afternoon.

Tour of Robben Island

The Robben Island Tour includes a return boat trip across Table Bay and a tour of the infamous Maximum-Security Prison where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years, interaction with an ex-political prisoner, a 45-minute bus ride with a guide providing commentary, the opportunity to explore the Murray’s Bay Harbour precinct attractions and the Museum Shop. Duration: 3.5 hours

The dates on the calendar are the tour commencement date and arrival date in Johannesburg. All international flights booked must arrive in Johannesburg as per the calendar dates.

We are able to arrange your international flights from Australia to Cape Town (recommended) to ensure you have one point of contact for your tour. Please indicate in the special request of the booking form if you would like us to arrange your international flights.

International airfare prices are subject to the date of travel, availability and increase without notice and not guaranteed until paid. International flight costs are only available 10 – 11 months prior to your departure date as the airlines only open their booking system for this period. Any variance in costs are for the clients own account.

Check in time for international flights are 3 hours prior to departure. Please reconfirm flights with the airlines 24 hours prior to departure in the event of any schedule changes and we cannot contact you in time to advise you accordingly.

It is the passengers responsibility to ensure your passport has more than 6 months validity from return date.No refunds of flights are permitted once the flights have been issued. Change of dates for flights issued will incur a change of date cost.

Baggage allowance vary on domestic flights and the allowance is 20 kg for checked in luggage and 7 kg for carry – on luggage.
